Joe can be described as a compassionate LPC Associate who is dedicated in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, Joe uses a holistic, client-centered approach to guide clients toward healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Joe earned his Master’s degree in counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University, where he received comprehensive training in therapeutic techniques and psychological theories. He is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to facilitate meaningful change and empower individuals to reach their goals.
Throughout his career, Joe has worked with diverse populations, including military service members, children, couples, and families. His approach is rooted in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but he is also open to integrating other modalities that best suit the needs of each client.
In addition to individual therapy, Joe also offers group counseling, couples counseling, workshops, helping clients develop effective coping strategies and build emotional resilience. Passionate about mental health advocacy, Joe is dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding therapy and promoting well-being for all.
Outside of counseling, Joe enjoys reading, outdoor activities and values maintaining a balanced and mindful lifestyle. He is deeply committed to helping others lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
