Hello! My name is McKenzie and I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a passion for helping individuals navigate the challenges of trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and other mental health disorders. With experience working with the foster care population, I understand the complexities of healing from past experiences and building a path toward emotional well-being.

I graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. In 2021, I returned to school to pursue my dream of becoming a mental health counselor and earned my Master of Arts degree from St. Mary's University in 2023. In 2024, I obtained my license to practice, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to supporting individuals and families on their healing journey.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also integrating Art Therapy and exploration into sessions to encourage self-expression and deeper insight. I strive to create a compassionate and supportive space where individuals can explore their emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and build resilience.
