Graduate Level Intern

I am currently a graduate student at Our Lady of the Lake University in the Masters of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health. Throughout my curriculum, I have taken graduate courses that focused on programs and interventions that could improve mental health accessibility and help individuals feel empowered while receiving the support they need. The approach that has most resonated with me is Person Centered Therapy because I believe that in counseling, it is important for each person to receive unconditional positive regard and a truly genuine experience. I am also a first generational graduate on both sides of my family. This led me down the path of self-discovery and wanting to help others. I am trained in sand tray therapy and I enjoy working with children as young as 8 years to adults. Outside of learning, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, photography and gardening.
