Graduate Level Student

I am currently a graduate student pursuing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, and living there gave me contact with a true melting pot of cultures and people from all around the world. I want to use that experience when working with clients with a variety of different life experiences.

I focus on creating a judgement-free, supportive, and caring space where people feel comfortable opening up about the struggles that they are currently going through. I use a mixture of Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) so that the people I work with feel safe and open to sharing their experiences with me. This enables me to help them change their negative thought patterns and behaviors to something healthier, while also teaching them coping skills that can be used in daily life.
